A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple and tax-efficient way to support the YMCA while meeting your philanthropic goals. By contributing to a DAF, you can make a charitable donation, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to the YMCA over time.
Donor-Advised Funds
How It Works
1. Open a DAF: Establish a donor-advised fund with a sponsoring organization, such as a financial institution or community foundation.
2. Contribute: Make an irrevocable contribution to your fund and receive a tax deduction.
3. Recommend Grants: At any time, recommend grants to the YMCA from your DAF.
