FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: When will the Y completely open again and what precautions are you taking?
A: The YMCA’s reopening plan prioritizes the health and well-being of our members, staff and the communities we serve, taking into account CDC guidelines and the guidelines and recommendations of state and local government authorities. While our indoor wellness centers remain closed, we are currently offering OUTDOOR GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES and OUTDOOR PERSONAL FITNESS SPACES at both our Middletown and Monroe locations as well as LAP SWIM, AQUACIZE and FAMILY SWIM at our Middletown location. Only those with an active YMCA Membership may participate and RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for all. Please email us at contactus@middletownymca.org to reactivate your membership.  

Q: Will my draft be automatically reinstated when the Y reopens?
A: Yes, members who are on HOLD will be reactivated once our buildings reopen. Please look for email communications from us or feel free to contact us: contactus@middletownymca.org, 845-344-9622 or 845-782-9622

Q: Is Childcare available at this time?
A: The YMCA is currently operating 4 SUMMER DAY CAMPS in Orange County and is preparing our FIRST STEP PRESCHOOL and CLUB KID, before and after school program, to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
