The YMCA opens its doors on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th Saturday of every month (October-June) from 7:00pm-10:00pm, to provide youth ages 10-17 an alternative from the streets and offers them opportunities to participate in fun, safe, productive activities:
Basketball - Swimming - Exercise & Workouts - Chess - Board Games - Ping Pong - Foosball
Arts & Crafts - Dances - Trips - Xbox Kinect - Wii - Video Game Tournaments - Dodgeball - and MORE!
YMCA Members attend for FREE.
All others are just $2 per night.

Develop the social skills and confidence needed to enhance dramatic performances.
Join the Y’s choir! Learn vocal performance, harmony, music theory and perform at community events.
Note: Participants must commit to fundraise through ticket sales.
Express yourself through movement and music through hip-hop, jazz, ballet and other dance styles.
This program is for experienced musicians of any level and with any instrument. Bring your instument and your music stand, and together the group will inspire the community through their music.
Enter the world of music with this introduction to
music theory,vocal performance and basic instruments
such as bells, kazoos, recorders and other percussion instruments.
Intro to Studio
Recording and making your own music. Learn the basics of engineering a studio recording session, while making and recording your own music. Class maximum of 6 participants.
Violin – Group Lessons
Master the fundamentals of playing the violin. Please bring your own violin.
Learn to play African Drums and other percussion instruments in a gorup. Children and adults are encouraged to participate – what a great way to spend time together as a family. Drumming involves memory and relieves stress.
The family of the guest of honor is responsible for
decorations, food, refreshments, cake, and any activities in the party room.
Our Birthday Party Coordinator will be there to assist you in decorating and organizing the party.
John’s of Arthur Ave, in Middletown, offers a special birthday party rate of $9 per pie.

Parties should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
Fee includes 15 guests, NOT including the guest of honor.
Parties may be hosted for more than one guest of honor for a fee of $20.
Additional guests may be included at a fee of $5/guest to be paid on the day of the party.
Each guest receives a YMCA Water Bottle.
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve a date.
All parties must be paid in full before the party date.

Celebrate a special event at the YMCA of Sullivan County. Year-round indoor and outdoor activities can accommodate most special events from birthday parties to family reunions. Hiking trails, a low ropes course, an outdoor children’s nature play area and much more awaits your guests.

Family Swim is a recreational swim time where families enjoy quality time playing together in our pool. Swim bubbles, noodles and pool toys are available. For safety reasons, inflatable floats and rafts are not permitted in our pool. Please view our pool schedule at the top of this page for the current Family Swim Schedule.
Family Swim Rules:
All children age 7 and younger must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
Children ages ages 8-12 who can not swim independently must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
Children ages 8-12 who can swim independently must have an adult present on the pool deck at all times.
Non-swimmers of any age are not permitted in the deep end of the pool unless wearing a lifejacket/bubble and accompanied by an adult.
Swimmers will be evaluated by a lifeguard before being permitted to swim in water deeper than their own chest level.

Base Camp was designed to provide a smaller more private space for personal training, small group trianing and individual members to enjoy a quiet workout in a less crowded space.
This room was also designed with the understanding that starting a fitness routine can be very difficult for new or returning health seekers. We want you to feel comfortable, confident and successful on your path to beginning a new healthier lifestyle so we’ve created a 9 week Get Started Program to help you set safe attainable fitness goals, create a balanced routine, and encourage you to work at your own pace with guidance and support from qualified fitness professionals.
What is the GET STARTED Program?
Weekly 45-minute sessions with an Exercise Coach in a small group following a 9 week lesson plan
Exercises begin slowly, safely and gradually increasing over the 9 weeks
Informational handouts on wellness and nutrition
Your exercise coach will closely monitor your attendance, provide support, motivation and encouragement while teaching you the basics of fitting activity into your lifestyle
All coaching sessions will be at the same time, on your selected day of the week
Sessions cannot be made up on an individual basis
MAKE THE COMMITMENT TO YOUR HEALTH TODAY!
This $25.00 program is available to YMCA Members only.
Upon completion of the program, your $25 will be credited to your YMCA account for use towards the purchase of YMCA apparel and merchandise available at our Welcome Center desk.
