UPK Teacher 

YMCA of Middletown First Step Preschool 
Immediate opening for a Universal Pre-Kindergarten teacher. Teacher must hold a valid NYSED Pre-Kindergarten (N)- 6 teaching certificate or a degree in Early Childhood Education with an approved study plan to become certified.  This part time position is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Before/After School Counselors

School Bus Driver - An experienced part-time school bus driver is needed for our before and after school program in Middletown. Driver must have a commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger & School Bus Endorsements and must pass a background check, drug test and physical. Hourly rate: $18-$20 per hour depending on experience.

Gymnastics Instructor - An experienced gymnastics instructor is needed to lead classes on Monday and Tuesday evening and Saturday monrings this fall for ages 18 months (parent & child) to 9 years old. Candidate must have knowledge of age appropriate gymnastics lesson plans, plenty of patience and hte ability to manage and supervise groups of children. Part-Time Member Services Representative

The South Orange Family YMCA is looking for a Member Services Representative to work at the Welcome Center.  Role is for someone that is friendly, outgoing and has experience and proven success with multi-tasking and problem solving.

Primary duties Include providing excellent service to members and guests, promoting YMCA Membership and Programs, maintaining access control during member and guest check-in, answering member phone calls, in-person transactions, providing member tours along with other clerical duties.

Shift available is from 7:45am to 2pm on Sundays plus weekend/night hours that vary.  Flexibility is a must.

 Required Experience and Education:

  • 2 years or more of Clerical/Customer Service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual a plus

Gymnastics Instructors

We are looking for part-time, energetic individuals to teach gymnastics classes during the evenings and weekends. Candidates must have experience in gymnastics and interacting with individuals of all ages. The ideal candidates must have the ability to lead all gymnastics classes, have knowledge of age-appropriate gymnastics, patience, and the ability to manage and supervise groups of children. These positions pay $16 - $25/hr., based on experience and educational background. YMCA membership is included upon hire.
