Here at the YMCA, we’re always thinking about Summer Camp and our staff is always interested in sharing information with you. Please don’t hesitate to call and ask to speak to a camp representative.

YMCA Camp Discovery at Harriman State Park was put in place for the purpose of better serving our families who live in the Monroe area or commute to and from surrounding areas. Our camp serves children ages 5-15. Our campsite is located on Upper Twin Lake in Harriman State Park just 5 miles from Central Valley and minutes from the top of Route 6. Bus transportation is available to and from camp with pick up and drop off sites located at the South Orange Family YMCA and Central Valley Elementary School.
This rustic and wooded camp spans many beautiful acres and includes cabins, a gathering hall, buildings for special activities, a basketball court, and the use of Upper Twin Lake for swimming and boating.

Session 1: June 25th - July 6th
Session 2: July 9th - July 20th
Session 3: July 23rd - August 3rd
Session 4: August 6th - August 17th

It’s not too early to think about SUMMER FUN because REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN!
Registration is now underway for our summer day camp program located at our Middletown facility. Our camp services children ages 3-12. We have a traditional camp day, along with optional extended hours for a great child care alternative. At the time of registration, you will be required to provide a $50 non-refundable deposit per session to hold your child’s placement.
Take advantage of this great opportunity to give your child a summer to remember at a price that’s affordable!
